Answer B Microvesicular steatosis as a cause for fulminant hepatic failure is most commonly attributed to use of valproic acid. However, this histologic picture may also be seen in patients with Reye’s syndrome. A mixture of micro and macro vesicular steatosis can also be seen with tetracycline.
