Answer ASheehan's syndrome (mostly in patients who have experienced severe post-partum hemorrhage with
hypotensive shock.- Post-partum ischemic necrosis of anterior pituitary
- Failure of lactation, amenorrhea, atrophy of breasts, loss of pubic/axillary hair, superinvolution of uterus, hypothyroidism, adrenal cortical insufficiency
- IV corticosteroids, fluids, and endocrinologic confirmation of diagnosis
