A 68 year old woman has a 10 year history of Parkinson’s disease which ahs been treated with a combination of levodopa & benserazide 3 times a day & benztropine 3 times a day. During the last year she has experienced periods of mid rigidity ½ hour prior to the next dose of levodopa, but her overall mobility is reasonable.
