For Diagnosis of Rheumatic fever, two major criteria or one major and two minor criteria must be present.
* Major Jones Criteria (manifestations) of Rheumatic fever
1. Carditis
2. Polyarthritis
3. Chorea
4. Erythema marginatum
5. Subcutaneous nodules
* Minor Jones criteria of Rheumatic fever:
a) Clinical:
- Previous rheumatic fever or rheumatic heart disease
- arthralgia
- Fever
b) Laboratory
-↑Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)
-↑C-reactive protein
- leucocytosis
