The Correct Answer is A

Vasovagal syncope is a common cause of syncope in children. It is often accompanied by a sense of warmth, nausea, lightheadedness, and visual “grayout.” Vasovagal syncope often occurs in hot, humid, or crowded settings, and can be triggered by stressful situations, mild physical trauma, or the sight of blood. Prolactin levels are increased after seizures and normal inpatients with pseudoseizures. Patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy may have a family or personal history of cardia disease, exercise induced suncope or palpations. A long QT syndrome is ruled out by a normal EKG.
