Pseudounipolar cells of spinal and cranial nerve ganglia derive from the neural crest. Other cell types that derive from neural crest include Schwann cells, multipolar ganglion cells of autonomic ganglia, chromaffin cells of the 
adrenal medulla, odontoblasts, melanocytes, and cells that make the leptomeninges (pia and arachnoid). All of the other cell types listed derive from the neural tube.Tags:
