Anatomy of Anterior Vaginal Wall
- Anterior vaginal wall has 3 sulci due its relation with the urinary bladder
- Parameatal recess: Depression on either side of the urethral meatus.
- Submeatal sulcus : Transverse groove 0.6 cm from the urethral
- Transverse vaginal sulcus : Transverse groove 3 – 4 cm fr om the urethral meatus, at the junction of the urethra with the bladder neck and at which the vesical and vaginal fasciae fuse together.
- Vesical (bladder) sulcus at the level of the fundus of the bladder.
