Trochanteric fractures are not known for non-union as they have rich blood supply.
Non union is the most common complication following an intracapsular fracture of the femoral neck. It is also seen commonly with fracture of the lower third of Tibia.
Features of Fracture scaphoid:
- Tenderness in the anatomical snuff box
- Avascular necrosis is common
- Non union in proximal pole fractures
- Fracture is radiologically visible after 2 weeks
